Here’s everything you need to know about how payments work at LetSox — what we accept, how your information is protected, and what to expect when you check out.
Accepted Payment Methods
We offer several ways to pay at checkout:
Credit and Debit Cards — We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Both credit and debit cards work.
PayPal — You can pay directly through your PayPal account. You’ll be redirected to PayPal during checkout to complete the transaction, then brought back to our site once it’s done.
Apple Pay and Google Pay — If your device supports it, you can use Apple Pay or Google Pay for a quicker checkout experience.
All payments are processed in United States Dollars (USD).
When You’re Charged
Your payment is charged at the time you place your order. We don’t hold or pre-authorize amounts — once you hit confirm, the full order total is charged right away.
Orders won’t go into production until payment has been successfully processed. If a payment fails or gets declined, the order won’t be placed and nothing will be charged.
What You’ll See at Checkout
We believe in no surprises at checkout. Your order total is broken down clearly before you confirm:
Product price — exactly what’s listed on the product page. Shipping — either free (orders $99+) or $7.99 flat rate (orders under $99). Sales tax — calculated automatically based on your shipping address.
That’s it. We don’t add processing fees, service charges, handling fees, or any other hidden costs. The total you see on the checkout page is exactly what gets charged to your payment method.
Payment Processing and Security
We take payment security seriously. Here’s how your information is protected:
All transactions are processed through Stripe and PayPal — two of the most widely trusted payment platforms in the world. We use SSL encryption across our entire website, so any data you enter is encrypted before it’s transmitted.
We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or any sensitive payment details on our servers. That information goes directly to our payment processors and never passes through or gets saved on our end.
Both Stripe and PayPal are PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, which is the highest level of certification in the payment security industry.
Currency
All prices on our website are listed in United States Dollars (USD). If you’re paying with a card issued outside the U.S., your bank may apply its own currency conversion rate and foreign transaction fees. Those fees come from your bank, not from us — we only charge in USD.
Payment Confirmation
After your order is placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your order details and a summary of what was charged. If you paid via PayPal, you’ll also see a receipt in your PayPal account.
If you don’t see a confirmation email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Still nothing? Contact us and we’ll verify your order status.
Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment doesn’t go through, your order won’t be placed. A few common reasons this happens:
Insufficient funds or credit limit reached. Incorrect card details — double-check the card number, expiration date, and CVV. Your bank flagged the transaction — some banks block online purchases from new merchants. Try contacting your bank to authorize it.
If you keep running into problems, try a different payment method or reach out to us and we’ll help you figure it out.
Refunds
When a refund is approved, it goes back to the original payment method you used:
Credit/debit card refunds — processed within 3 to 5 business days. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days to appear on your statement.
PayPal refunds — typically show up in your PayPal balance within 3 to 5 business days.

Fraud Prevention
To protect both you and us, we reserve the right to review orders that appear unusual or potentially fraudulent. This might include orders with mismatched billing and shipping addresses, unusually large quantities, or multiple failed payment attempts.
If we need to verify something, we’ll reach out to you by email. In rare cases, we may cancel an order if we’re unable to confirm its legitimacy. If that happens and you’ve already been charged, you’ll receive a full refund.
Chargebacks and Disputes
If there’s a problem with your order, please contact us first before filing a dispute with your bank or PayPal. We’re usually able to resolve things much faster directly. Filing a chargeback without reaching out to us first can delay the resolution and complicate things for both sides.
If an unauthorized chargeback is filed on a legitimate order, we will provide the relevant transaction records to dispute it.
Billing Descriptor
When the charge shows up on your bank or credit card statement, it may appear as “LETSOX” or “STRIPE” or “PAYPAL” depending on your payment method and your bank’s formatting. If you see a charge you don’t recognize, check your recent orders with us before contacting your bank.
